I thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed my lunch visit to State Fare Kitchen & Bar. Located in town center, State Fair is surrounded by great shopping and lots of activities. The restaurant has a nice vibe! The decor fits the theme, the service was great, and the food...even better.
This visit, I had the pleasure of trying the Shrimp & Andouille Etoufée, which included fried catfish, crawfish tails, and white rice. It came out steaming, and although it was hot, it tasted amazing. Because I love onion rings, I had an order of those with burger sauce. I love the burger sauce and would recommend it to everyone! I also tasted the State Fare Po' Boy, with friend catfish, spicy mayo, lettuce, and tomato. It came with a side of fries, which I eat with either spicy mayonnaise or ranch. Everything I tasted was a win, but the Shrimp & Andouille Etoufée was next level! :)
At State Fare, there are menus for lunch, dinner, brunch, and happy hour. There are so many great options to choose from, like Sabine Pass gumbo, Pan Fried Crab Cakes, Roasted Airline Chicken and Ahi Tuna. In my opinion, State Fare Kitchen & Bar is a great choice for brunch, lunch, or dinner!
