Lazy Dog: Stafford

The customer service was off the charts. The restaurant was very busy and the waitress, manager, and owner came over to talk to us. And it wasn't those short, fake conversations. Every conversation that we had with the staff was enjoyable. I've never had an experience where I just wanted to be best friends with everyone on staff before today. That says a lot. I love a restaurant where the customer service is amazing, so 1,000,000 gold starts for the Lazy Dog staff. You guys are the best!

Now, to the food! Lol. There are so many options that foodies will enjoy! This was my first visit to a Lazy Dog restaurant, and in my head, I always thought it was a place to get hot dogs or coneys. I was wrong. There are many things to choose from like fried hush puppies, buffalo chicken nuggets, seared ahi tuna, and the PB& J burger. The list goes on and on....literally!

I had a chance to test quite a few things during my visit. First, I drank a pink lemon drop, which is skyy infusion citrus vodka, dekuyper triple second pink lemonade with sugar on the rim. It was really good! I tried a couple of the small plates. The crispy deviled eggs were awesome! I get deviled eggs at any restaurant I can, but I have never had them fried before. The eggs were lightly fried and topped with smoked paprika and bacon candy. I also tried the Brussel sprouts. Ive never really been a fan of Brussel sprouts but I love how these were prepared. They were made with lemon, garlic, butter, capers, crispy croutons, and Romano cheese.

Now, to the main dish. I got the Thai Noodles. Thai noodles are made with shrimp, ground chicken, tofu, peanuts, stir-fried egg, bean sprouts, and peanut sauce. I tried this dish because of a recommendation from a waitress and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't think that I would like it, but I actually loved it! I also got to taste the flat iron steak, which was great. This is a 10 oz flat iron served with spinach, mashed potatoes with house gravy on the side with garlic butter.

The Lazy Dog also offers tv dinners which, in my opinion, is pretty amazing. I can't wait to try their four cheese lasagna TV dinner, which I will review on a later date. Lazy Dog: Stafford for the win!! I loved it, and I will definitely be back for happy hour :)
